well-differentiated liposarcoma (atypical lipomatous tumor)
Histologic Features
- A poorly circumscribed neoplasm with
- Fat lobules of varying sizes separated by abrupt fibroseptae that contains cells with hyperchromatic nuclei
- Lipocytes with varying sizes, some containing multiple lipid droplets in the cytolasm
- Portions of the neoplasm that closely resembles a normal benign lipoma
