Histologic Features
- A cup-shaped invagination connected to the epidermal surface with
- Epidermal hyperplasia at the entrance
- A central keratotic plug containing many acantholytic dyskeratotic cells (corps ronds)
- Finger-like proliferation of epithelium within the invagination with prominent suprabasal acantholysis
- A lichenoid infiltrate of lymphocytes and histiocytes at the base
