Histologic Features
- Sparing of the upper dermis
- Multiple epitheliod tubercles in the lower dermis and subcutis, involving both the fat lobules and the septae
- Epithelioid tubercles incompletely surrounded by lymphocytes
- Large number of multinucleated giant cells within the tubercles
- Fibroplasia of the subcutis
