Histologic Features
- Parakeratosis with plasma and neutrophils
- Irregular psoriasiform hyperplasia
- Infiltration of the epidermis by lymphocytes and many neutrophils
- A dense lichenoid infiltrate obscuring the dermo-epidermal junction, consisting of mostly histiocytes with some plasma cells and neutrophils
- A dense diffuse dermal infiltrate of histiocytes and plasma cells, mostly around the vessels and the adnexae.
