Histologic Features
- A multifocal proliferation of sebaceous lobules contiguous with the epidermis or hair follicles
- Palisading of the peripheral basaloid cells of each lobule
- Lobules comprising mainly of basaloid cells and few sebocytes
- Sebaceous cells in the center of the lobules
- Focal areas of necrosis
- Sebaceous ducts compacted with sebum that contain neutrophils and cellular debris
