Histologic Features
- A circumscribed lesion with a peripheral rim of fibrosis, characterized by
- Highly cellular lobules composed of basaloid cells forming confluent sheets of cells with hyperchromatic crowded nuclei and frequent mitotic figures
- Shadow cell formation towards the center of the lesion
- Focal necrosis en masse
- Anaplastic matrical cell nuclei
- Small foci of inner root sheath differentiation with clear cells and trichohyaline granules
