pale cell hidradenoma
Histologic Features
- A bulky irregular neoplasm with a smooth border, characterized by
- Large tubular lumina and cystic spaces containing amorphous eosinophilic material, red blood cells, and necrotic lipid-laden macrophages.
- Large cuboidal neoplastic cells with round to oval basophilic nuclei and clear cytoplasm
- Attempts at cornification by forming what appears to be squamous eddies
- Hyalinized collagen between tumor lobules
