Histologic Features
- Orthokeratosis
- Hypergranulosis
- Irregular epithelial hyperplasia
- Many necrotic keratinocytes in the lower epithelium
- A dense lichenoid infiltrate obscuring the interface, consisting mainly of lymphocytes with a few plasma cells, neutrophils, and eosinophils.
- A lymphocytic exocytosis in the epithelium
