Histologic Features
- A neoplasm with attempts at glandular formation, characterized by
- Retraction clefts between neoplasm and stroma
- Neoplastic cells characterized by mucin in the cytoplasm and signet-ring formation
- Presence of neoplastic cells within lymphatics and blood vessels
- Relative absence of inflammatory cells
