Histologic Features
- A normal cornified layer and epidermis
- Slight edema of the papillary dermis
- A moderately dense cuff-like lymphohistiocytic infiltrate around the blood vessels of the superficial and deep plexuses
- Scattered eosinophils in the inflammatory infiltrate
- Prominent extravasation of erythrocytes in the dermis
