Histologic Features
- Confluent parakeratosis with neutrophils
- Subcorneal pustules containing neutrophils
- Infiltration of the epidermis by neutrophils
- Irregular psoriasiform hyperplasia
- Subepidermal fibrosis
- A dense, diffuse mixed cell infiltrate consisting predominantly of neutrophils, with an admixture of foamy histiocytes, lymphocytes, and numerous eosinophils.
- Fibroplasia of the stroma
- No evidence of vasculitis
