Histologic Features
- A small, well-circumscribed lesion surrounded by a fibrous stroma, characterized by
- Vascular spaces of varying sizes and shapes lined by a single layer of endothelial cells
- A single or multiple layer of glomus cells surrounding the vascular spaces, consisting of uniform cells with large basophilic round nuclei and eosinophilic cytoplasm
- Sclerosis of the stroma
- Mucinous changes in various foci
