- A pedunculated lesion with
- Epidermal thinning
- Interconnecting thin cords of basaloid cells contiguous with the epidermis
- Prominent palisading of the peripheral nuclei
- Cleft between neoplasm and stroma
- Fibrotic stroma with mucin deposition
- Individual cell necrosis
