Histologic Features
- A basket-weave horn
- Confluent epidermal necrosis and dyskeratosis
- A subepidermal blister containing mostly lymphocytes and a few neutrophils
- Vacuolar alteration of the basal layer
- Edema of the papillary dermis
- Extravasation of erythrocytes
- A superficial perivascular lymphohistiocytic infiltrate with some neutrophils
