Histologic Features
- Compact orthokeratosis of the volar skin with a normal epidermis and a narrow grenz zone
- A dense, diffuse dermal infiltrate consisting predominantly of neutrophils, a few scattered eosinophils and a prominent number of histiocytes with abundant cytoplasm
- Leukocytoclastic vasculitis with nuclear dust and neutrophils involving the superficial and deep vessels
