Histologic Features
- A neoplasm with a lobulated pattern, characterized by
- Peripheral nodular or cord-like arrangement of cells around central necrotic areas with a hyalinized stroma
- Surrounded by large polygonal cells with eosinophilic cytoplasm and large pleomorphic vesiculated nuclei with pleomorphism
- Microcystic changes and hemorrhage in the stroma
- An increase number of spindle cells in the stroma
- Chronic inflammation at the periphery
- Epidermal ulceration
