Histologic Features
- A sharply demarcated lesion with
- A thick, laminated orthokeratosis
- Papillomatosis or digitation of the epidermis with slight thinning of the epidermis at the tips of the papillation
- Elongation and fusion of the retes ridges which are not thin
- Prominent horn pseudocysts
- Direct connection with sebaceous glands and rudimentary bair follicles
- Epidermolytic hyperkeratosis
- Focal acantholytic dyskeratosis
- A dense inflammation (inflammatory linear verrucous epidermal nevus)
