Histologic Features
- A large poorly circumscribed neoplasm within large muscles characterized by
- Alternating myxoid and cellular areas with
- Myxoid foci containing overlapping ribbon-shaped spindle cells and rounded rhabdomyoblasts with glassy hyalinized cytoplasm
- Cellular regions composed of undifferentiated small basophilic cells
- An increased number of blood vessels
- Scattered pleomorphic cells with large vacuolated eosinophilic cytoplasm and distinct cross striation of cytoplasm
