Histologic Features
- A well-circumscribed neoplasm characterized by
- One to several lobules of neoplasm located deep in the dermis
- Closely aggregated neoplastic cells with oval medium-sized nuclei and ill-defined cytoplasmic borders and peripheral smaller darkly staining cells with scanty cytoplasm
- Eosinophilic homogenous material between the neoplastic lobules
- Ductal structures within lobules
- Rosette-like arrangement of the small basaloid cells around loose stroma with granulation changes
