Histologic Features
- Hyperkeratosis of the acral skin of extremities
- Intact epidermis
- Marked edema of the papillary dermis
- A superficial and deep perivascular infiltrate consisting mostly of lymphocytes, a few neutrophils and eosinophils
- Prominent thrombi formation with fibrin deposition in the vessel walls
- Extravasation of red blood cells
