Histologic Features
- A subepidermal blister containing mostly neutrophils, but also erythrocytes, lymphocytes and a few eosinophils
- Edema of the papillary dermis with neutrophils "tagging" the DE junction
- A superficial perivascular lymphohistiocytic infiltrate containing many neutrophils
