Histologic Features
- A well-circumscribed lesion characterized by
- A proliferaton of thick-walled blood vessels with
- Large pleomorphic endothelial cells protruding into the lumen
- Vacuoles in the cytoplasm of some endothelial cells
- Mucin deposition in and around the vessel walls
- Numerous lymphocytes, histiocytes, and eosinophils within the stroma
- Lymphocytes forming into lymphoid follicles
