Histologic Features
- A thin flaky stratum corneum
- A thin epidermis
- Few scattered lymphoid cells as solitary units within the epidermis
- A patchy lichenoid infiltrate in the papillary dermis consisting of convoluted lymphoid cells.
- Coarse collagen in the upper dermis
- Widely dilated capillaries of the dermis
